Lg Optimus One Budget Android Phone with good looks and Android 2.2

The budget smartphone phone scene is crowded with more and more android ones following the trend. If you are on a budget or just to get an into android action Lg optimus One is the best choice.

The P500 model is an upgrade over optimus GT540 with capacitive touchscreen and the latest android 2.2 os.The specs of optimus one are

  • TFT capacitive touchscreen, 256K colors
  • 320 x 480 pixels, 3.2 inches
  • 170 MB user available, 512 MB RAM
  • microSD, up to 32GB
  • 3.15 MP,VGA@18fps
  • 600 MHz processor
  • 3g,wifi
  •  Li-Ion 1500 mAh
Though 600mhz is low but the android 2.2 is faster than 2.1 and has no problem working on the phone.User interface is responsive and the capacitive screen can make it much easier. Support for multitouch is a welcome addition. The phone has a great battery life with talktime of 7 hours. The phone has no custom ui and can be a welcome change over the custom ui out there.
The phone is good mix of features that you can find on high end phone with sacrifices like screen resolution, slower processor etc.
The phone costs about Rs.13000 in india or  $200 .
